Faster DSL, New Hair, and Mod's Choice at Elfwood
I finally have a faster internet connection. Ye Haw!!! It only took them most of last week to get
it going. My net connection was going wonky all the time so we decided to up the DSL speed we were using. Wow it is fast now, but we went through a week of a connection that just didn’t want to stay connected until they came and put a new box on the outside of the house on Friday.
New Hair…I went to my stylist last week, and had an inch taken off my hair, and had her shape it into
A cool wispy looking long style, then Bubba (my wonderful barbie doll beautiful Stylist, yes Bubba is a girl) talked me into getting some highlights. Wow I feel so Hollywood. She put this very light caramel colored highlights all over in the front, along with some racy burgundy red highlights along side them. This all rests within and mingles with my own natural dark brunette hair. I really love it, and it looks good when I dry it natural and get those little waves and curls to pop out, and it looks good when it is blowed dry and straightened with my Chi iron too. I will try to get some pictures posted of my hair this week.

Why do I think this is so funny, because out of ten pics submitted
they only approved five, and I was in such a funk over it yesterday.
My pieces “A Sweet Trade” the pirate piece of Selina, and “Mabon Mother”
the goddess piece of Jess got
rejected for not being appropriate fantasy pieces,
and the rest were rejected along the same lines. So I was wandering around yesterday
wondering if the Wood was on its way to becoming another Epi….and then of coarse the ice storm hit, and we lost our power till this morning. The we get power back and I check my mail to find I got a Mod’s Choice for Badb. So I find it very ironic and wonderfully funny that I actually let my self get into a funk over the rejections.
Well I am off to get some work done on this fine frozen/wet morning. We got rain this morning on top of the inch of ice we got yesterday, and we have a wasteland of old snow, ice, water, and mud outside the warmth of our home right now. All in all a good day to work inside and catch up on the web stuff I missed out on doing last week.
