"Please do not shoot at the thermal nuclear weapon!"

In the movie Broken Arrow, there is a moment when one of the characters says very intensely "Please do not shoot at the thermal nuclear weapon!"

I find this a very apt statement for something that is happening in our government right now.
In order to explain though, I will have to give a bit of a science and history lesson.

Yellowstone National Park is the site of one of the most famous and beautiful geysers on the face of Mother Earth. Buffalo still roam it’s confines, as well as grizzlies, deer, and a myriad of other wild creatures. These are general well known facts! What is not often known about Yellowstone, at least to ¾ of the general American public and the world it that Yellowstone park is also the site of one of the world’s largest and possibly most dangerous SUPER VOLCANOS.
Eruptions of the Yellowstone volcanic system have included the two largest volcanic eruptions in North America in the past few million years; the third largest was at Long Valley in California and produced the Bishop ash bed. The biggest of the Yellowstone eruptions occurred 2.1 million years ago, depositing the Huckleberry Ridge ash bed. These eruptions left behind huge volcanic depressions called "calderas" and spread volcanic ash over large parts of North America (see map). If another large caldera-forming eruption were to occur at Yellowstone, its effects would be worldwide. Thick ash deposits would bury vast areas of the United States, and injection of huge volumes of volcanic gases into the atmosphere could drastically affect global climate.

Our president and his regime are pushing policies in place that endanger many of remaining wild places and natural resources of America. They want to drill for oil in Yellowstone which I perceive to be a great example of the insanity and greed of today’s non planet conscious big businesses, and the politicians they keep nestled safe inside their back pockets.

Just look at the picture below if the caldera’s rim…the vast size of this thing is mind blowing.

So I ask our leader’s "Do we really want to stick drills in the super volcano?
Just as firing off machine gun rounds near a thermal nuclear weapon is not a wise tactical choice, neither is sticking drills into a the very heart of a a very large, and possibly devastating to our entire world, super volcano! What good is all that oil going to do anyone if Yellowstone decides to blow?
